Mr. King is a respected senior healthcare leader who operates with a strong emphasis on deeply understanding the healthcare industry, strategic planning, “playing the long game,” and staying ahead of rapidly evolving industry trends and challenges. He uses the insights gained in his 20+ year career as a healthcare leader in providing strategic and operational advice to a number of industry stakeholders.

Mr. King most recently served as executive chair and CEO of Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (Labcorp – NYSE: LH). Under his leadership, Labcorp transformed from a pure-play U.S. testing laboratory into a leading global life sciences company — tripling in size through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, entering the Fortune 500, and being named to Fortune’s List of World’s Most Admired Companies. It is now the world’s largest clinical laboratory and second-largest drug development business. In 2019, Forbes named Mr. King to its list of America’s Most Innovative Leaders. Prior to joining Labcorp, Mr. King was partner at Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells) where he was a key leader in the firm’s healthcare fraud and abuse practice, representing national healthcare companies in investigations and litigation. Mr. King was also an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland.

Mr. King is the Executive Chairman of ScribeAmerica, a leading provider of healthcare workforce solutions; is the non-executive chairman of Privia Health (NASDAQ: PRVA); and also serves on the boards of ZimVie (NASDAQ: ZIMV), binx health, and VaxCare. Mr. King’s extensive commitment to community service also includes serving as board chair of PATH, a nonprofit global health organization; board member of Novant Health, a multi-state integrated health system; member of the advisory board and executive committee of Duke University’s Robert J. Margolis, MD, Center for Health Policy; and board member of The Emily K Center, a college-readiness center founded by Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski. Mr. King previously served on the board of Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH), a Fortune 20 healthcare company, and the American Clinical Laboratory Association, where he served as board chair from 2010 to 2014.

Mr. King holds a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Tony Andrulonis, M.D.

President and Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Tony Andrulonis leads operations at ScribeAmerica. In this role he collaborates cross-functionally with executive, senior and local management to define key performance objectives, and develop strategies to address healthcare delivery challenges.

As an emergency medicine physician, Dr. Andrulonis has driven groundbreaking results in clinical care, and administrative efficiency over the course of his career. With expertise improving the quality of life for patients and providers, he guides health systems through the transition to value-based care.

Prior to joining ScribeAmerica, Dr. Andrulonis served as the President of Emergency Medicine at Envision Health, and Chief of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Baptist Health in Miami, Florida. As a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Task Force member, Dr. Andrulonis contributed to the emergency response for 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. He is a sought out speaker, and was recognized by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) as a “Hero of Emergency Medicine” during their 40th Anniversary celebration.

Dr. Andrulonis graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed a residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds an MBA from Northwestern, Kellogg School of Management and served as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Chief Financial Officer

Mike graduated undergrad at York College of Pennsylvania with B.S. in Accounting, received an MBA from Florida Atlantic University with Accounting Concentration and Passed CPA exam in 2009. Mr. Welch is licensed in the State of FL.

Mike started his career in Audit at Deloitte & Touche (D&T) in South Florida. He worked on D&T’s largest public companies in the South Florida market.

Most recently, Mike spent four years with Sunera where he worked on a variety of projects, including Internal Audit Compliance, Cash to GAAP accounting conversions, audit support for clients, purchase accounting projects for newly acquired companies, valuation work with regards to intangible assets, bankruptcy support and served as main contact/preparation for financial reporting.

Jennifer Larsen

Executive Vice President of Operations

Jennifer Larsen joined ScribeAmerica in 2006 and has been key in the company’s growth from small startup to market leader to industry pioneer. She was one of the company’s first managers to implement new medical scribe programs across the U.S. At ScribeAmerica, Jennifer authored the guide to standardizing program procedures for managers, streamlined operational practices and created the compliance protocol to meet national Joint Commission standards for scribes. Today, as a partner and executive vice president of senior management, Jennifer is responsible for overseeing and improving programs nationwide.

Before joining ScribeAmerica, Jennifer graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences. She was a recipient of full athletic scholarships and played Division I tennis for both University of Wyoming and University of California at Irvine.

Jennifer takes pride in assisting physicians and helping them work at peak efficiency; through scribe services she strives to continually enhance the work/life balance for clinicians across the country.

Fabio Giraldo Montoya

Executive Vice President of Operations

Fabio Giraldo Montoya holds a B.S. in Pre-Clinical Health Sciences and Masters in Health Service Administration from the University of Central Florida. He joined ScribeAmerica in August of 2009 at Florida Hospital, where he was a standout scribe. In 2010, he was promoted to Chief Scribe and then Project Leader; he helped implement several contracts in southern Georgia and then returned to Florida to become the Southeast Regional President.

Fabio prides himself in maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness in his programs and ensuring that the highest of standards are followed in accordance with our company best practices. In an effort to maximize team efficiency, he is currently working on a Six Sigma Project as part of our internal QA/QC.

In his spare time Fabio enjoys saltwater fishing, attending concerts, salsa dancing and spending quality time with his daughter. He currently resides in Orlando and makes good use of the year round sunshine.

Executive Vice President of Operations

Amanda works closely with hospital partners and staffing groups across the country to deliver customized healthcare solutions at the point of care. She has worked in the medical scribe industry since 2002, beginning her career as a scribe leader and implementer. Her work has helped shape today’s modern medical scribe industry.

Amanda has served in business development roles strategizing with partners as well as overseeing operations teams focused on standardization and execution. She has led national teams through periods of dynamic change, including expansions and acquisitions. Amanda’s experience and expertise in the healthcare industry paired with her legal training allows her to work with our partners to deliver innovative and compliant solutions across the care continuum.

Amanda graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Biology and earned a JD from Texas A & M Law School, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with her husband, two sons, and two stepdaughters.

Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing

As the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Brian Hudson leads ScribeAmerica’s company growth initiatives, developing strategies to grow organic new business and to expand the Company’s brand. He works closely with leaders from the nation’s leading health systems and provider groups to build relationships and gain a deep understanding of how ScribeAmerica can support their organizational goals.

Prior to joining ScribeAmerica, Brian led Sales and Marketing at leading organizations, including Avant Healthcare Professionals, Anthelio Healthcare Solutions and KForce Inc. Brian’s exceptional leadership and experience in healthcare provides ScribeAmerica with an opportunity to expand its reach with providers and advance healthcare services nationally. He is a member and actively involved in the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and has served on the local boards of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Brian is a graduate of Florida State University. With a current Gubernatorial appointment to the State of Florida Dept. of Health, Board of Athletic Training, Brian has a passion for the healthcare industry and serving his community.

Voula leads the Legal team. Along with her team, Voula partners across all functions to assist with developing and contributing to ScribeAmerica's strategy and long-term objective of transforming healthcare and the practice of medicine. Voula and her team play an essential role in protecting the interests of the Company’s business and employees. 

Before joining ScribeAmerica, Voula was an attorney at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP, an international law firm, focusing her practice on nationwide counseling and litigation for employers across numerous industries. Prior to that, Voula was an analyst at an economic and financial consulting firm.

Voula is committed to the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Florida Children's Theater and Leadership Broward Foundation, as well as the auxiliary board for Jack and Jill Children’s Center, a nonprofit organization providing early childhood education and wrap-around support to high-need families.

Voula holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia College, Columbia University.  

Voula is married with two children. Voula spends her free time with family, friends, traveling and playing tennis.

Northeast Regional President

Melanie Arcelay holds a B.S. in Cellular Neurobiology from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. After graduating college, Melanie was medical school bound and as a result, was introduced to the medical scribe industry. It was there where she learned she had a passion for the business side of healthcare which would still allow her to make an impact by caring for our overworked healthcare providers. This passion led Melanie to her current position, as ScribeAmerica’s Northeast Regional President where she leads our Northeast partners to success by utilizing her 9+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.

Prior to joining ScribeAmerica, Melanie spent 6 years in the medical scribe industry, holding multiple roles on the operational front. Upon joining ScribeAmerica, Melanie joined the business development team as the Associate Director where she focused on healthcare strategy. This operational and business background allowed Melanie to take on the Regional President role in 2016 where she has fostered many strong partnerships.

While a native of Pennsylvania, Melanie currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling (and trying new foods), and playing with her Pug, Pablo.

Senior Vice President, National Accounts

Marla is currently the Senior Vice President of National Accounts at ScribeAmerica. She is responsible for building client excellence in supporting the organizations growth strategies, and providing clients with excellent communication and promoting ease of practice and a positive client experience.

Previously, Marla has had many years of operations experience and has held the position of Vice President of Operations with private outpatient physician groups and with large national multi-specialty groups serving hospital clients and driving quality, growth initiatives, and efficiencies. She has experience in working with private and for-profit health systems, and managing various clinical specialties. Marla received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from Salisbury University and holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Nova Southeastern University.

Marla is a fellow and active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and has served on the Board of ACHE of South Florida as the Chair of Student Services and has a passion for mentoring early careerists. She has also served on the Board of the Remote Healthcare Internship Program during COVID in 2020, Womens Healthcare Executive Network Board, and other community service boards. In addition, Marla is involved in many community programs such as Leadership Broward, United Way, and is an active volunteer of Trustbridge Hospice of South Florida and volunteer and member of DAR programs serving veterans.

Chelsey Geiger serves as the Senior Vice President of the Project Management Office where she works closely with the executive leadership team. As the leader of PMO, Chelsey is responsible for new client integration and effective implementation of scribe services.

Chelsey brings over a decade of experience partnering with hospitals and health systems to enrich the experience of the providers and patients they serve. Prior to joining ScribeAmerica, Chelsey led the Implementations team at PhysAssist Scribes, where she was integral in the operational design and scale of the company. She helped lead PhysAssist through its acquisition by ScribeAmerica in 2018, and has since brought her leadership experience to the ScribeAmerica team.

Chelsey earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She currently resides in Dallas, Texas, with her husband, Jared.

Senior Vice President, Business Development

Charlie Coe serves as Senior Vice President, Business Development for ScribeAmerica where he works closely with the CEO, and Chief Strategy Officer. As a member of the Business Development team, Charlie is responsible for the development and implementation of Medical Scribe programs across the country.

With over a decade of experience focusing on large, national, physician groups, Charlie provides guidance to clients facing complex healthcare challenges. Prior to joining ScribeAmerica, Charlie led Aris Radiology as the National Director of Business Development helping groups reduce the cost of service while improving access to care for their partners through strategic staffing strategies. Charlie also spent time with TeleHealth Solutions, a national hospitalist group, focused on reducing readmission rates while offering round-the-clock access to patients. Charlie has experience in the acute and post-acute space, collaborating with health system and physician group executive leaders.

Charlie graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Finance. He currently resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife Kristi and rescue pup of eight years, Polly. In his spare time, Charlie is an avid skier, golfer, and Cleveland sports fan.

Vice President Information Technology

Daniel Tehrani joined ScribeAmerica in 2012 as an information technology consultant, and soon became its first Director of Information Technology. Mr. Tehrani works with outside vendors and ScribeAmerica’s senior and executive leadership to implement new technologies that allow for improved communication and increased efficiency. ScribeAmerica’s national presence and focus on providing services at more than 300 individual client locations necessitate sophisticated networking and communication technology integrations. He is ultimately responsible for all aspects of information technology at ScribeAmerica.

Mr. Tehrani created ScribeAmerica’s first secure and remotely accessible internal network, implemented paperless processes across the company, and spearheaded new document indexing and data organization protocols. Additionally, he implemented new electronic reporting techniques and protocols that allow for greater accountability and communication between all levels of the organization. At ScribeAmerica, Mr. Tehrani takes his experience to the next step by researching, identifying, and proposing ways in which new technology can be a benefit. Mr. Tehrani successfully integrated corporate email, calendar, and document sharing among management, created and maintains an internal secure intranet for seamless access to up-to-date documents company-wide, and implemented standardized distribution and access to training processes. Ultimately, these technologies allow for more transparency and standardization, leading to higher client service levels.

Building his first computer at age 15, computers and technology shaped Mr. Tehrani’s development. Mr. Tehrani is known throughout ScribeAmerica for his creative approach to issues and problem-solving abilities, offering creative solutions to meet management’s needs. His continuing goal is to bring to ScribeAmerica the cutting edge technologies that allow for continued growth and increased efficiency. Mr. Tehrani developed many of these skills through the integration of his personal interest in technology, his education, and practical experience at medical offices.

Mr. Tehrani graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, including a split concentration in Business Communication & Business Negotiation. He resides in Los Angeles.

David Osborne serves as the Talent Acquisition leader for ScribeAmerica. David is responsible for innovative strategy and implementation of enterprise-wide recruiting efforts. Highly focused on early-in-career candidates and executive recruiting.

David brings fifteen years of talent acquisition experience focusing on delivering results in corporate and high-volume positions. Before joining ScribeAmerica, David led global and national teams with a Top 40 company, Lowes, and a few other Fortune 500 companies, Gannett and Hub International.

David resides in the Nashville, TN area, with his wife and four children. When not working, David enjoys coaching girls' travel softball and cheering on his Tennessee Vols football team.

Annie Poe received her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine University. She previously worked for ScribeAmerica in 2009 as a Project Leader, implementing scribe programs in multiple Emergency Departments across the nation. She has worked in the healthcare industry for 10 years, most recently in healthcare information technology, where she used her clinical experience as a scribe to analyze and enhance the EHR system and high-level strategic business policies in one of the largest healthcare organizations in Texas.

Although her roots lie in Southern California, Annie currently resides in Austin, Texas where she enjoys eating, music festivals, and traveling.

Zach Walsh serves as the marketing leader for ScribeAmerica. Zach is responsible for branding, growth marketing, and telling the ScribeAmerica story against the backdrop of the modern healthcare landscape.

Zach brings seven years of healthcare marketing experience focusing on delivering on the promise of value-based care through health information management, telehealth, and the digital health startup space. Before joining ScribeAmerica, Zach led digital marketing and operations with Scene Health, bringing modern medication adherence technology to at-risk populations. Zach also spent time with Access Telemed, the nation’s leader in acute care specialty telemedicine, and Ciox Health in the release of information and health information management space working to unlock the power of modern technology across the American healthcare system.

Zach graduated from the University of Georgia and currently resides in Atlanta with his wife Jennifer and their five children. In his spare time, Zach enjoys being a father of five and an avid Atlanta sports fan.
