ScribeAmerica – A Place for All

With the inception of our ScribeAmerica Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council in December 2020, we are committed to creating a welcoming environment that embraces all dimensions of diversity, equality, and inclusion. Our D&I program is important to us and our continued growth as an organization to better serve our employees and our community. We are reminded every day that our success comes from our employees and they make us who we are. We want to honor, support and respect all of our people and create a safe and inclusive workplace for all. 

Our Mission

The D&I Council aims to develop and foster an environment of inclusion, recognition and community within the diverse ScribeAmerica family. Through continued discussion, listening and shared learning, we seek to ensure every ScribeAmerica employee feels welcomed, understood and most importantly, celebrated within our organization.

A Message from Our Executive Chairman

The last two years have presented us with unprecedented challenges – battling a global pandemic as front-line healthcare workers while managing our personal lives amid the fear and anxiety caused by COVID19. It’s no exaggeration to say that COVID has hit close to home for everyone in the ScribeAmerica community, and the emergence of the omicron variant means this will be the case for the foreseeable future.

As ScribeAmerica’s Executive Chairman, my goal is to support every one of our valued colleagues, and to guide us toward a safe, healthy and successful future.  Our role in the healthcare community has never been more critical, and we understand the responsibility we have to our clients, their patients and each other.

Diversity and inclusion will be a critical part of our long-term success. The creation of our Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council in 2019 demonstrated our organizational commitment to these values, and the Council has led sustained efforts to educate ourselves on initiatives designed to serve people from every background, culture, race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, and ability.  This year, we will introduce new initiatives to further our mandate, including our new Empowerment Groups, offering a space for colleagues to connect and discuss matters important to them.

We must ensure that ScribeAmerica continues to be a place where people can be their true selves, where respect is fundamental, and where we thrive on learning from our differences. Our core values celebrate our people — integrity, leadership, innovation, partnership, and improving the quality of healthcare. Besides being integral to our success as a company, these values inform how we champion our diversity and inclusion initiatives, and how we embrace a healthy and vibrant community. 

We have made great progress, yet we have much to learn. I am optimistic that, together, we can drive meaningful growth and change. I hope you’ll join our journey as we continue to shape our inclusive culture and ensure diversity is valued and celebrated.
