With the inception of our ScribeAmerica Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council in December 2020, we are committed to creating a welcoming environment that embraces all dimensions of diversity, equality, and inclusion. Our DEI program is important to us and our continued growth as an organization to better serve our employees and our community. We are reminded every day that our success comes from our employees and they make us who we are. We want to honor, support and respect all of our people and create a safe and inclusive workplace for all.

The DEI Council aims to develop and foster an environment of inclusion, recognition and community within the diverse ScribeAmerica family. Through continued discussion, listening and shared learning, we seek to ensure every ScribeAmerica employee feels welcomed, understood and most importantly, celebrated within our organization.

A Message from Our President

The core function of healthcare is to leverage coordinated efforts to maintain, promote, or restore an individual’s or community’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This is at the heart of every organization’s mission in the healthcare industry and it is impossible to achieve without fundamental respect for one another, regardless of age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs.

ScribeAmerica enables providers to focus on delivering quality and compassionate care to thousands of unique communities across the country. The strength of ScribeAmerica’s diverse employees is one of our greatest assets, allowing us to embrace the diverse group of providers and patients that we service every day. My 15 years of experience as a practicing physician taught me the power a diverse group of individuals can have when they are singularly committed to the care of their community.

At ScribeAmerica we are dedicated to creating a community that is inclusive of all individuals without bias. Our culture is built on the belief that everyone has value and that our differences are something to be celebrated, respected, and honored. We act on this belief in smaller ways such as an active DEI committee, Employee Empowerment Groups, pronouns in our email signatures, and floating holidays for employees to use according to their customs.

We also act on this belief in bigger ways, like equal opportunities for all current and prospective employees and genuine mutual respect during every interaction, both internally and externally. ScribeAmerica is proud of our values anchored to a fundamental respect for humanity and individual freedom.
