How It Works

Your Emergency Department

Every Emergency Department is unique and we at ScribeAmerica understand that, so our company conforms to the specific characteristics of your workplace.  Twenty four hour coverage is available; you also may have as many scribes on as you wish for overlapping physician coverage.  And yes even holiday's get covered; all scribes hired are required to work at least one holiday per year.  New EMR?  We will train and orient all new hires to your specific medical documentation.

Integration

Here we work with you to find out your current deficiencies, get connected with your billing company to find out how we can benefit you the most and the final part is to help optimize the EMR at your facility.

Recruitment

Our experienced project leaders through a very standardized and sophisticated process will obtain the most qualified personnel possible in your unique region of the country.

Implementation

Depending on the initial size of the program, start-up usually takes 2-4 months. Once training is complete, every certified scribe will have a 90-day probation period when your group as well as ScribeAmerica can evaluate these individuals to ensure success.

Monthly or bi-monthly meetings will follow to keep the workforce up to date with changes in the department.  You may have as much or as little participation as desired.  Positive or negative comments and suggestions may be addressed directly to a ScribeAmerica officer. This is done to ensure your complete satisfaction.  We have found that this type of reinforcement avoids any expectation that the emergency physician is responsible for managing their scribes.
