Senior Operations Strategist
Atom Larsen was hired by ScribeAmerica after receiving a pre-medical Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. In 2008, he began work as an Emergency Physician Scribe at Tacoma General Hospital. His natural talent for scribing was recognized and he was offered the opportunity to implement new scribe programs as a traveling Project Leader with ScribeAmerica. Through the success of his contracts and his contributions to the pre-clinical training process he progressed to East Regional Manager in 2009, then Vice President of Product and Training Development in 2010, then Chief Training Officer in 2012. As of 2013 he is currently the director of Emergency Medicine for ScribeAmerica. During his time with the company, Atom has worked in 24 different healthcare facilities within 11 different states, and has dedicated thousands of clinical hours working for hundreds of physicians across the country.
Within the industry, Atom's passion centers on educating new and upcoming scribes, in addition to developing curriculum that helps motivated pre-medical students perform real-time documentation for practicing clinicians.
Outside of work, Atom's heart lives in the Pacific Northwest as an avid naturalist, backpacker, kayaker, rock-climber and mountaineer.
Director of Hospital Scribe Services
Cassy Haire is our Director of Hospital Medicine with a primary area of expertise in providing quality inpatient scribe services. She began working with the company in 2007 as a scribe at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo, California. She has since graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biological sciences from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and has been a part of our leadership team since 2009. More recently Cassy has been working to strengthen and expand our hospitalist scribe program and is also our leading expert in all things Meditech.
Ms. Haire currently resides in Napa, California though thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to travel frequently and collaborate with a variety of medical professionals in numerous locations across the country.
Director of Outpatient Scribe Services
Marly Brodsky originally joined ScribeAmerica in 2007 as an Emergency Medicine scribe at Tri-City Medical Center in San Diego, CA. After a brief hiatus to complete her BS in Health Sciences at San Diego State University, she returned to ScribeAmerica as a travelling project leader. During this period, she was able to successfully implement scribe programs at multiple outpatient subspecialty clinics as well as produce a large volume of training material to be used by ScribeAmerica in the opening of future outpatient clinics. Based upon this experience, Marly started working as the Director of Outpatient Medicine in 2013.
One of the characteristics that Marly finds most enjoyable and challenging about her time at ScribeAmerica is working closely with physicians and medical directors to troubleshoot problems in creative ways. In her mind, solving some of the most challenging issues reaps the greatest rewards.
Marly currently resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia, though she loves travelling to Panama and Alaska to visit her family. In order to relax, she enjoys running, yoga, and Latin dancing.
Director of TeleScribes
Jaclyn Genes joined ScribeAmerica in 2011 while finishing her Dual Bachelors of Science in Biology and Psychology from Seton Hill University in her hometown of Greensburg, PA. Jaclyn served as a Chief Scribe during her time in college and developed a passion for what ScribeAmerica brought to the medical industry. After graduating summa cum laude, she was promoted to a traveling Project Leader position where she successfully transitioned many home grown scribe programs in the Greater DC Metro area to become a part of ScribeAmerica's nationally acclaimed program.
Jaclyn has recently been named Director of Telescribes, a newly formed division of Scribe America. She is excited to be in charge of nationally growing the TeleScribes division. Jaclyn looks forward to continuing to help healthcare providers put their focus back on the patient.
Jaclyn currently resides in Alexandria, VA and enjoys exploring the nation's capital and spending time with family, especially her faithful Papillon Puddles.
Ryan Stevenson, MD
Director of Emergency Scribe Services
Ryan Stevenson currently serves as the Director of Emergency Scribe Services where he is responsible for growing and maintaining ScribeAmerica's emergency medicine division nationwide with proactive, client-focused and responsive services for all our emergency department and urgent care programs.
Ryan is a Class of 2004 graduate from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. After graduation, he began working in the scribe industry at a local homegrown scribe program. After managing the program as chief scribe for almost two years, he worked with a physician practice management company to implement five emergency department scribe programs across the state of Virginia before attending medical school at St. George'™s University. After receiving his medical degree, Ryan decided to pursue a career outside of direct patient care and joined ScribeAmerica as a traveling project leader in 2013. Over two years, he implemented fourteen new contracts serving nineteen facilities and encompassing two hundred scribes, which he continues to manage.
One of the key factors in Ryan'™s decision to commit to a career in the scribe industry was his desire to not only positively impact the lives of patients by allowing physicians more time to interact with individuals, but also improve the overall manner that healthcare is delivered by physicians and other clinical staff by improving clinical efficiency and documentation, while providing invaluable clinical experience to aspiring healthcare providers.
Ryan is a native of Hampton, Virginia but currently resides in Fort Lauderdale where he is getting used to the year-round warm weather and relaxes by engaging outdoor activities including soccer, fishing and walking his dog Spaz.
President of Client Solutions
Craig Newman serves as the President of Client Solutions for ScribeAmerica where he supports current and prospective partners assess the impact of scribes within their healthcare system. Craig also collaborates with Dr. Murphy and the Client Solutions team to think through new strategic initiatives to better serve our partners.
Prior to joining ScribeAmerica, Craig spent the past eight and half years with the Advisory Board Company, a national healthcare research and solutions form. While with the Advisory Board, Craig worked in a consultative role to support hospitals and health systems with their service line planning and clinical technology assessment. Craig also worked to launch several initiatives focused on network strategy, referral management, and various use cases for leveraging real time-predictive analytics.
Craig currently resides in Washington, D.C. In his spare time, Craig enjoys golfing, cooking, and traveling.
Fabio Giraldo Montoya
Southeast Regional President
Fabio Giraldo Montoya holds a B.S. in Pre-Clinical Heath Sciences from the University of Central Florida and is currently enrolled in an Executive Masters in Health Service Administration (eMHSA), also at the University of Central Florida. He joined the ScribeAmerica team in August of 2009 at Florida Hospital, were he was a standout scribe. In 2010 he was promoted to Chief Scribe and then Project Leader; he helped implement several contracts in southern Georgia and then returned to Florida to become the Central Florida Regional Manager.
Fabio prides himself in maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness in his programs and ensuring that the highest of standards are followed in accordance with our Scribe Best Practices. In an effort to maximize Scribe efficiency, he is currently working on a Six Sigma Project as part of our internal QA/QC.
In his spare time Fabio enjoys saltwater fishing, attending concerts, salsa dancing and spending quality time with his daughter. He currently resides in Orlando and makes good use of the year round sunshine.
West Regional President
Jerry Yang holds a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health Promotion with a focus in Sports Medicine from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. His childhood dream was to be a team doctor for a professional baseball team, later deciding on the business career path within healthcare.
Jerry spent 7 years in the pulmonary diagnostic device arena, serving as Research Project Assistant all the way up to a Divisional Operations Manager for a large multinational medical device company specializing in pulmonary clinical trials for large pharma. In 2013, he joined Medical Scribe Systems as a Client Service Manager, with promotion to Director of Account Management in early 2014 and Vice President of Operations by year's end. In 2015, Jerry joined Scribe America as West Division President upon the merger of the two companies.
Jerry is passionate about operational efficiency, customer service, and employee development and leadership. He merges his extensive experience in healthcare with his high standards of service related to the scribe industry to help improve healthcare one provider at a time.
Other than healthcare and scribes, his passions include golf and family. He is based out of the ScribeAmerica office in El Segundo, CA, and resides in sunny Orange County.
Annie Poe, MPP
South and Mid-Atlantic Regional President
Annie Poe received her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine University. She previously worked for ScribeAmerica in 2009 as a Project Leader, implementing scribe programs in multiple Emergency Departments across the nation. She has worked in the healthcare industry for 10 years, most recently in healthcare information technology, where she used her clinical experience as a scribe to analyze and enhance the EHR system and high-level strategic business policies in one of the largest healthcare organizations in Texas.
Although her roots lie in Southern California, Annie currently resides in Austin, Texas where she enjoys eating, music festivals, and traveling.
Rama Aysola, MD
Midwest Regional President
Dr. Rama holds his Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University and completed training in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College in the South Bronx, NY. Dr. Rama completed his Post-Baccalaureate pre-medical studies at Washington University in St. Louis and holds a B.A. in Psychology and Economics from University of California, Irvine. Since 2013, Dr. Rama has worked in the fast pace Urgent Care industry in organizational administration/management, clinical workflow optimization, EHR implementation, care coordination, and direct patient care.
Dr. Rama began his medical career to better the lives of his patients and now passionately works towards improving the lives of fellow physicians so they can provide better patient care. He also enjoys seeing the future physicians of America gain invaluable experience through ScribeAmerica programs.
Dr. Rama is a Los Angeles native who now resides in Chicago. He enjoys snowboarding, tennis and experiencing all that the great Midwest has to offer.
Marla Scriffignano, M.D.
Vice President of Client Solutions
Marla Scriffignano, M.D. is a board-certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and previously worked at Physicians for Women, a private practice in Northern New Jersey. In addition, she worked on staff at Chilton Memorial Hospital. She helped to grow the practice at Physicians for Women by improving internal processes for follow-up and patient care management, and worked with the community through regular lectures to high school students in health classes.
Dr. Scriffignano received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and minor in Biology from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed one year of Internal Medicine training at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Scriffignano then completed her residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. She performed and completed two Resident Research Projects during her training.
Dr. Scriffignano utilizes her background in medicine in her role as Vice President of Client Solutions for ScribeAmerica. As a practicing physician, she understands firsthand the value of a scribe program. Scribes fulfill a critical role, which allow physicians like herself to spend more quality time with patients that ultimately leads to improved patient care.
Although Dr. Scriffignano is a native of Northern New Jersey, she currently resides in Southern Florida with her husband.
Krystal Inman Hunt
Senior Vice President of Operations
Krystal Inman Hunt serves as the Vice President of Senior Management at ScribeAmerica. Mrs. Hunt oversees assigned Senior Project Leaders and Chief scribes, managing and assisting on associated current and future client contracts.
Prior to the Vice President of Senior Management position, Mrs. Hunt was a traveling Senior Project Leader with ScribeAmerica. She has extensive knowledge and experience in implementing new scribe programs for both ED and outpatient services. She has spent countless hours working along side physicians, successfully helping to increase their efficiency within their workflow.
Mrs. Hunt received her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Clinical Allied Health at the University of Central Florida.
Mrs. Hunt currently resides in Mississippi with her husband and son.
Vice President of Senior Management
Rebekah Lewis serves as a Vice-President of Senior Management at ScribeAmerica. Ms. Lewis oversees the management of traveling ScribeAmerica Senior Project Leaders and conducts training for incoming Junior Project Leaders.
In 2009, Ms. Lewis joined the ScribeAmerica team at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida, where she worked as a medical scribe. After serving as a scribe for two years, she received a promotion to a traveling Project Leader responsible for scribe program implementations nationwide. After traveling to 11 states and managing 21 scribe programs across the country, Ms. Lewis joined the ScribeAmerica Senior Management Team in 2013.
Prior to joining ScribeAmerica in 2009, Ms. Lewis worked as a College Program Campus Recruiter for the Walt Disney World Company in Orlando, Florida. She has extensive experience in marketing and recruitment, management, training, and strategic problem solving.
Ms. Lewis received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in 2011, where she focused on marketing as a concentration. She is an active alumnus in the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, and in her free time she travels and enjoys weekend adventures.
Although Ms. Lewis is English by birth, she was raised in Brisbane, Australia. After many years of extensive travel with ScribeAmerica, she now resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Vice President of Senior Management
Michelle Liscum holds a B.S. in Chemistry from California State University, Northridge. She started her career within the scribe industry in 2003 and joined the ScribeAmerica team as a traveling Senior Project Leader in 2009. Since that time she has successfully implemented several scribe programs across the country. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the implementation of scribe programs allowing her to easily identify roadblocks and present solutions. She is now a member of the Senior Management Team and serves as the Vice President of Senior Management.
Ms. Liscum is passionate about improving the overall patient experience. She believes that the most effective way to improve not only the patient experience but also the provider experience is to implement a scribe program. She believes that every provider should have a scribe to increase his or her efficiency and improve his or her work-life balance. There is no better combination in the medical field.
Michelle now resides in Tucson, AZ where she enjoys hiking, boxing, yoga and spending time with her friends and family. She loves traveling but having a home to come back to is a something to be cherished.
Vice President of Senior Management
Sierra Wiegele attended Florida State University, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics in 2010. After graduation, knowing she had a passion for the healthcare field, she became an ED scribe at Manatee Memorial in Bradenton, Fl. Sierra thrived in the fast-paced environment of the ED and enjoyed learning from the physicians and nurses while also better preparing her for Physician Assistant school. She was promoted to Chief Scribe, which is when she fell in love with the managing role and sought a long-term career with ScribeAmerica. After much travel time and dedication to implementing new ScribeAmerica contracts in the ED and Family Practice settings, Sierra has joined the Senior Management Team as Vice President of Senior Management. She believes she was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to travel to several different states while also making a difference in the medical field.
Sierra currently resides in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where she spends her free time planning her Summer '15 Costa Rica Wedding.
Vice President of Senior Management
Kayle Strzelecki originally joined the ScribeAmerica team in the summer of 2009 as an Emergency Medicine Scribe. She was hired as one of the first scribes in Indiana and began working closely with the physicians at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health in Indiana. While attending the university, she was promoted to Chief Scribe and assisted in managing a total of 5 Indiana hospitals. She has since graduated with a BS in Engineering and a Minor in Biological Sciences from Purdue University.
After graduation, Kayle took a position on the ScribeAmerica leadership team and began traveling with the company. Over the last several years Kayle has successfully implemented both Adult and Pediatric EM scribe programs across the country. She has worked in 18 different hospitals since 2009. One of the characteristics that Kayle enjoys most about the fast-paced environment is the challenge of consistently increasing a physician's efficiency and productivity in an unpredictable environment. She also takes pride in improving the quality of life for so many emergency medicine providers across the country.
Kayle currently resides in Georgia where she now strives to strengthen and expand her contracts. She continues to enjoy exploring the world and sailing every chance she gets.
Vice President of Senior Management
Lawren Wylie is an alumni of the University of California Santa Barbara. After graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts in Pre-Law emphases, she realized that her true calling was within the more team-oriented healthcare dynamic. In preparation for an ER scribe program implementation in Southern Orange County, CA, Lawren was hired as a member of the 60+ strong pilot scribe class. She was subsequently chosen to become the inaugural Chief Scribe of this program (which she still oversees today). Following her tenure as Chief Scribe, Lawren accepted a traveling leadership position; in this role, she implemented both ER and outpatient programs in several different regions of the country. Following her service in the implementation department, Lawren joined the account management team in early 2015; following the merger of ScribeAmerica and Medical Scribe Systems, Lawren joined the operations team as a Vice President of Senior Management. Lawren values, appreciates, and enjoys her role for its innate ability to provide an extraordinary opportunity for pre-med hopefuls (as well as for the chance to improve overall quality of life and satisfaction for healthcare professionals).
Although a Californian native, Lawren now resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL. When you can't find her in the ocean, you can find her at her art, kung fu, or dancing studio.

Jordyn Pung was born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii where her healthcare journey originally began. After graduating from Kamehameha High School, she identified the value of effective communication and studied Business Marketing as an undergraduate in San Francisco, California. Personally affected by cancer and a desire to help others, Jordyn redirected her career aspirations and focused on becoming an Oncologist. After the completion of her Bachelor's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, Jordyn took the position of an ED Medical Scribe with ScribeAmerica in 2011. To further her understanding of medicine, Jordyn took on other roles in Emergency Medicine but found these roles could not compare to the experience of the ED Scribe. After a personal battle with her health, Jordyn was exposed first hand to Physician fatigue and many areas of healthcare that could benefit from scribe services. This drove her to advance her knowledge by pursuing a Masters Degree in Public Health, which she will obtain in April 2016.
Jordyn was promoted to a Project Leader position in 2014 and has since successfully implemented many Medical Scribe programs into Emergency Departments and Outpatient Clinics across the country. Her time as a Project Leader provided invaluable experiences that brought her full circle in her healthcare journey. The mission, vision and core values of ScribeAmerica resonated within her, inspiring her to be part of the change that the scribe industry provides to patients, physicians and hopeful pre-med students alike. Jordyn saw how much more "saving doctors" encompassed than just "saving doctors" and realized she could touch the lives of millions of people by joining the ScribeAmerica Management Team. She is committed to sharing ScribeAmerica's vision of improving quality healthcare by improving the delivery of care and quality of life for medical providers nationwide.
Jordyn recently relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to begin her role as Vice President of Senior Management.

Kristin Glassburn received her Bachelors of Science in Health Science and a minor in Sociology from Purdue University. After traveling to Honduras and Nicaragua on multiple medical mission trips, Kristin decided to pursue her career in the healthcare field. She joined the ScribeAmerica team in 2009. After college, she decided to continue her education at Indiana University: Fairbanks School of Public Health where she obtained her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management. In tandem with obtaining her MPH, Mrs. Glassburn was promoted to a Senior Project Leader where she traveled the nation to implement multiple scribe programs. After traveling for multiple years, Kristin joined the Senior Management Team as Vice President of Senior Management.
When she is not focusing on work, you can find her flipping homes with her husband, traveling, playing with her english bulldog, Murph, or at Crossfit!
Vice President of Implementations
Josh Noble started with ScribeAmerica in 2008 at Florida Hospital Altamonte in his home state of Florida. By 2012, Mr. Noble had assisted with implementations of scribe programs throughout Orlando, Florida before transitioning into his role as Senior Project Leader. Between 2012 and 2015, he implemented numerous quality driven scribe programs from coast to coast and worked with ten plus Electronic Health Records before moving into his current role as Vice President of Implementations. Mr. Noble uses his past experiences, operations knowledge and troubleshooting skills to lay the foundation of each scribe program.
Mr. Noble attended the University of Central Florida where he studied Molecular and Microbiology. He currently resides in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and can be found on the golf course if not at the office.
Assistant Director of Outpatient Scribe Services
Loren McAnally graduated from Michigan State University in 2010 with a B.S. in Molecular Genetics. After working for a brief time in a research lab, she decided to pursue a career in clinical medicine. She joined the ScribeAmerica team as an emergency scribe at Allegiance Hospital, Michigan's first ScribeAmerica program, where she was drawn to the fast pace and synergy of the emergency department. As a project leader, Loren has had the fortune of working in seven different specialties across the country. She enjoys working with providers for the first time, particularly in specialties that are new to ScribeAmerica. Here she is able to augment the scribe role to best facilitate the workflow of each physician, and design training material in order to tailor the scribes' preparation. As the Assistant Director of Outpatient Medicine, Loren is building on this experience in order to assist in the implementation of outpatient scribe programs throughout the nation.
In her spare time, Loren is an avid equestrian and enjoys attending theater and performing arts events with her husband.
Director of Management Education
Jill Ni joined the ScribeAmerica team in 2007 at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, California. After working closely with the management team at Tri-City for two years, she became a Project Leader and began implementing new scribe programs. In 2013 she became a Senior Client Manager and is dedicated to ensuring client satisfaction and strengthening our current scribe programs. She continues to enjoy traveling to various locations and interacting with administrators, providers, and scribes to make sure that our programs run as smoothly as possible. Jill has extensive experience working in emergency medicine and is our leading Cerner expert.
Jill graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She currently resides in Ann Arbor, MI and she enjoys scuba diving and exploring her interest in aviation.
